So I was stuck dealing with car issues yesterday. Hence, the lack of video. Today is the second day of daylight savings time and it’s kicking my ass.

So to cope I rode out to the pub on my bike and had a couple of beers.

My Russian skin should not be exposed to sun so quickly. I’m literally a red Ruski. It burns man it burns.

Anyhow…This is basically the thirty year old boozers version of an early 2000’s emo chiks livejournal.

Frankly, this whole thing is a ramble where I talk about everything from my bookcase making idea to a dude who got loaded on psilocybin and ended up chasing an Oma with a weaponized broom handle.

Note (I repeated a factoid from another YouTuber (CoffeeTalk) “bird flu has 98% or so survival rate) I was unable to confirm this via Google. All I got was survival rate of the virus strains in Korea not of people. I did find a sixty percent mortality rate. That being said I don’t think he’s entirely off the mark because the CDC said the following:
While the risk from Asian H5N1 is low to most people, CDC recommends general precautions.
Sporadic human infections with Asian H5N1 virus have occurred in other countries, primarily in Asia and Africa. Most human infections with Asian H5N1 viruses in other countries have occurred after prolonged and close contact with infected sick or dead birds.
No animal or human infections with Asian H5N1 virus have occurred in the United States.

  • In this TFJ Vlog, you will find a discussion of the need to develop physical and metaphysical stamina. Public discourse and effective inquiry require strength and character. Both of these are inextricably tied and I give some quirky examples of how to attain them.
  • Mortality and the prosaic nature of megadeath are mentioned as a call to greater vigor and reverence for the potential lost.
  • There is also some discussion of the environment, especially water, and agriculture and how profoundly it affects our lives.
  • Due diligence must be given to such weighty issues and I just don’t see it being done on a large enough scale. So I raise the need for a more public engagement.

It was prosaic

It was transient

It was not subject for mosaic

Unless one’s reaching is transparent

As is mine

Though uncannily my eye has glanced upon it

Just in time to tow the line

As a monument to transience it is most fit

It’s aluminum

So it will last

Coincidentia Oppositorum!

Such appeals to language past

Are as hollow

As the sound

That tap upon such cylinder would follow

Yes perhaps I have said a thing profound

To twirl curlicues round the mundane

Is all the rage

And though it’s vain I do it here again

O what an age….
