Soil – A Poetic Notion

Image result for oak tree at night

Death is my Religion

Death is my sacred Mother

Death is the vehicle by which my soul traverses the heavens

She is no macabre fancy

But a perfumed blossom

When I was a boy

I dreamed of a rotting woman in an upper room

She would beckon with her will

And I’d enter first the parlor

Then ascend the stair

There she lay on her sick bed

Eyes fierce

Matronly

Nurture and discipline at once

All would fade to such black terror

Such abysmall emptiness

So complete

It sucked the heart from the breast

The heart from the heart

All chambers collapsed

But then in the charnel stench of decay

A bright light glimmers

And I become a raging fire

Her stygian embrace was but soil

From which my sappling oak would spring

So I do not fear

But worship

For when I go to ground

I enter through the womb again

To return to father’s house

For the sun is spread throughout

In billion upon billion glimmers

And there I go

To hang

Till again

The ground it calls to worship

And births a nation

I the man

Have but one rite

The worship

Of the mother

Night

No Way To Last (Poem)

asf

Yea.

I’m constantly wired.

Yea.

I’m hardly tired.

Yea.

It’s hard to the nth degree.

Yea.

This stream so fierce so free.

Yea.

Watch it hurtle me.

Yea.

Blur is all I see.

Woah.

Electronic.

Woah.

Pornographic.

Woah.

Everywhere.

Woah.

At once here and there.

No.

There’s not time to flip the page.

No.

There’s no time to feel my age.

No.

There’s no time to kiss.

No.

There’s no love to miss.

Yea.

Love takes time and love takes distance.

Yea.

It’s not possible in an instance.

Yea.

Load me up.

Yea.

More espresso in the cup.

Yea.

Carry on!

Yea.

Past today till life is gone!

Woah.

The screens don’t slow.

Woah.

I’ve got to go.

Woah.

Watch the updates flow.

Woah.

All at once all in a row.

No.

No time to sing.

No.

No time to give a friend a ring.

No.

No little notes on her doorstep.

No.

No time to prep.

Yea.

It’s all at once.

Yea.

It’s all already here ya dunce.

Yea.

One exploding instance.

Yea.

Can’t tell it’s static when it’s moving fast.

Yea.

There’s no past.

Yea.

Don’t linger.

Yea.

This pace don’t make a singer.

Yea.

This is the way it’s gotta be.

Yea.

One direction that’s what I call free.

Yea.

Over the edge.

Yea.

Don’t compose an adage.

Yea.

Don’t compose at all.

Yea.

Just fall.

Yea.

Fall fast.

Yea.

There’s no way to last.

Cager (Poem)

Image result for 19th century man

Overclocked machines

Stuffed to the brim

With numbered

Listlessness so grim

So grimly unencumbered

To trim

Cutting meaning into action

Assembled and compiled

For a smoother traction

Cager faintly smiled

The neatness the precision

How carefree

To live without decision

In the geometric See

The paths are set

Garbage collected

There’s no regret

No life so masterfully

Architected

Stardust’s Hymn

"Gold / Sun Alchemical Symbol" Stickers by cadellin ...

The sun drinks in all of our history

The sun remains there

Hunky Dory

Just don’t stare

The sun is a mystery

Rolling on

Hunky Dory

Nothing’s gone

The sun shines through every memory

It lit all paths

Just Hunky Dory

Now it laughs

The sun smiles melancholy

Been alive

Through every folly

It will drive

The sun brings rain

Prismatic lights to spring

Again again
Forever shall it sing

For one single ray

To shine down

To illuminate a fraction of a day
Infinity would drown
